About
Daniel and Cathy Lafitte bought the estate after working with the previous owner for 15 years. There are 18 parcels of vines over 17ha mostly facing south-east and they renamed it Domaine des Soulanes (‘soulane’ a hillside with south/south-eastern exposure). The domaine has always followed ‘culture raisonnée’ principles (organically sustainable cultivation) and is certified Organic by Ecocert.
Situated in the commune of Tautavel, in a natural corridor surrounded by the garrigue. The Mediterranean varieties, Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, are ideally suited to the steep and rocky terrain.
