Description
Nice structure, with soft , ripe and silky tanins. The mouth is rich and generous, with freshness. Silky fruit, brooding ripe blackcurrants and prune, leather, some black pepper spice and a smooth finish. The grapes have been de-stemmed then crushed. Pre-fermentation maceration during 24 hours. Light cap-punching during fermentation with a pumping-over. Malolactic fermentation in tank and in barrels for a part of the blend.75% of the blend has been aged during one year in 300-400 liters French oak barrels aged 1 and 3 wines.
